Yoga for Stress Relief

After 25 years in the software and healthcare industries, I know the value that yoga can bring to people who are over scheduled, over worked and in need of rest and relaxation. Thus, I was inspired to create "Yoga for Stress Relief" to help you release stress from your body and mind to find a deep sense of peace and restoration.

Seems there is no end to sources of stress from working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, to be a full-time care taker of children, aging parents, or an ill loved one, not to mention the political climate and climate change!

But no matter the source of your stress, Yoga for Stress Relief can help you feel calmer and better able to manage the challenges in your life. This class includes both active and relaxing postures, as well as movement within postures, to release tension from your body and stress from your mind.

Yoga for
Stress Relief

Tuesdays —OR— thursdays | 7:00-8:15pm

Yoga for Stress Relief is for students with some yoga experience who are looking to unwind after the stress of the day. Stretch and strengthen your body and find a calm stillness in the middle of your week.

You can join us one day a week or save money by joining Tuesdays and Thursdays!

Books and Mats

wednesdays 6:30-8pm

Unlike any book club you’ve ever belonged to! We’re combining book club discussion with a yoga practice. We’re reading soulful books to stretch our minds followed by yoga to stretch our bodies. We meet weekly as we progress through the book.

Yoga and Meditation
for Beginners

MONdays 6:30-8pm

Yoga and Meditation for Beginners is an introduction to meditation for people who have some experience with yoga. Each class combines several aspects of yoga including postures (asana), breathing techniques (pranayama), and centering exercises to calm your body and your mind and prepare you for silent, seated meditation.

Private Coaching

There are as many reasons for private coaching as there are students. Here are just a few:

  • modifications for a physical constraint

  • managing stress, depression or anxiety

  • establishing a home yoga practice

  • help with a challenging pose

  • modified practice while recovering from surgery or an injury

  • not feeling ready to start a class and want some private instruction first
